Snow Meditation
By Sandy McCann
Intro
Take a deep breath expanding your ribcage and let you stomach rise, hold and then exhale with a sigh letting your whole body sink downward into the floor beneath you. Take 2 more deep and cleansing breaths.

Snow meditation….
Imagine a beautiful delicate crystal lace pattern. Each crystal of light fluffy snow is different, the same way we are all individuals, beautiful in many different ways.
Softly falling snow transforms the landscape into soft flowing mounds of sparkling beauty. Places look so different covered in snow. Somehow more peaceful.
A blanket of soft snow covers us creating a world of silence and peace. Using our imaginations this soft snow does not feel cold but instead, comforting. Imagine this silence as a sign. It is in these silent moments in our lives when we can truly hear God and what he wants for us.
Take a moment now and just listen to your breathing and the quiet.
(pause)
God’s grace is placed on us and covers us like gently falling snow.
Use purposeful meditation to quiet your mind and let go of all the thoughts that don’t serve you.
When you take time to meditate you will awaken your mind to fresh new possibilities in your day.
