Breeze...During this stressful time...comfort

This is a meditation visualization story. You might find that listening to the story will help you to relax. Take a moment to get into a comfortable position.

Take a deep breath through your nose expanding your belly. Hold for a count of 3 then exhale completely through your mouth with a sigh. Repeat this 3 more times.

Breath in, exhale

Breath in, exhale

Now visualize walking along a peaceful stream. Hear the water as it trickles over small rocks. Feel the warmth of the warm sun and look up at the clear blue sky.

You decide to lie down on some soft green moss. You like the softness of the moss under your body. The earthy smell is relaxing. You breath in and out.

As you look up you notice some puffy, soft white clouds. You smile as you remember that as a child looking up at the summer sky and name all the different shape clouds you saw. Some look like a cat, or a horse, a wispy butterfly or a friendly dragon.

The clouds hold their magical shape for only a short while, until they are blurred but the soft breeze as they dissipate and disappear. You wonder were those shapes there just for you. You looked up and were given this gift for a short moment. You wonder, did anyone else see them?

Those clouds were carried off by the same soft breeze that we feel on our skin. This same breeze is what gives us a reminder of the life giving comfort of God.

This is a reminder that like our breath, he is always with us. Every time you feel a breeze on your face, every time you fill your lungs with air, know that God is here protecting us with his grace and peace.

When you are stressed or uncertain take time to breathe, breathe in peace, peace, peace.

Exhale all your worries and thoughts that do not serve you.
